These shows are always entertaining!  thanks

When did Jim Norton turn into Colin Quinn?

rb August 05, 2013 at 11:12 am

Wow. I will find time to listen.

Cloud August 05, 2013 at 11:25 am

I loved hearing Maria Bamford full on losing it during the Michael Ian Black segment.  It made it so much better.

That moment when Norton and Garofalo find total common ground was amazing. I want them to do a podcast together where they just read ads for prostitutes from the backpage.

EZ August 05, 2013 at 12:54 pm

400+ episodes and not one full Todd Barry interview??  This is a gross oversight which should be fixed soon.

Me before I listened: YES! MEGA-STARS OF COMEDY N’ SHIT!!!!

Afterward: Yeah, I preferred the Don Barris episode.

Andrew August 05, 2013 at 2:23 pm

I think Norton and Colin Quinn have always had very similar styles of delivery. Their comedy is really different though.

Totally with EZ . . . great live WTF, but Todd was a bit short-changed on this one. His podcast is great, btw.

Great episode August 05, 2013 at 6:25 pm

What a great episode!  I think Bamford and Norton should tour together.

Jordan August 05, 2013 at 11:31 pm

@EZ: Episode 11. It’s shorter than most episodes now, but that’s because the show has changed.

Leslie Grey August 06, 2013 at 6:20 pm

This one might be bluer than your bonus “dirty show” with Dave Atell, et al.

I love Norton’s frankness and honesty, holy shit! But Maria Bamford is a total fuckin’ gem!

Thanks so much for what you do, Marc!

funny yes… but I don’t know if it’s more funny or sad, that we Americans are still shocked[amused] and or surprised, by the variety of sexual expression that exists in the world. it’s almost as if we’re “perennial voyeur virgins”,and the adolescent jerk off joke, just keeps extending into the future; morphing slightly, yet ever present as a reference, to the primal carnal in all of us. only we, would make a big deal of this in this manner. other parts of the world, would never have this conversation because it would either be verboten ,or because it would simply be so banal and ho-hum to them.

A classic, to be sure.  Thanks Admiral Maron for displaying these fine comics to the world in raw improv glory. Remember , Admiral Maron…your banter with Michael Ian Black was funny.  You are funniest when you have material to improv on….forget about your ‘act’...and you will be regarded.

Yeah, everyone squirming in their seats around talk of watersports and transsexuals feels kinda prudish already. Norton should come to Europe. We don’t judge.

I think the point of “first world problems” isn’t so much that your problems are mundane and people are trying to take the piss out of you for it. It’s to make you realize that whining until you get a gift basket IS NOT A PROBLEM.
