The first time I saw Leslie she was on at The Comedy Store at around 1 AM.
Within minutes I thought, “what.. the .. fuck is SHE doing on at 1 AM?”
To this day she is the only person who made me laugh hard at 1 AM at The Store. I must assume that she was doing other gigs that night then just decided to drop in late.

this is a little fucked up,but it’s just an observation.  at first, i thought leslie was a brotha’, because of the relatively deep voice.  and i said to myself, oh shit,this is the first black leslie,that’s a dude that i’ve ever heard of.  not that there are that many white male leslie’s[actor leslie nielsen was one] either;but they do exist. oh well, maybe there is no such thing as a black male leslie. we’ve got lynn-s though, as in lynn swan, former NFL’r.

I like the interviews where the topics cover shared disastrous drug usage memories. It takes me somewhere I’m not sure I want to go, and then it’s over and I feel I’ve learned something valuable. Kind of like surviving a wreck. Actually experienced something of value. Interesting guest and trip.
