marc, another great chat - bill’s a high-flyer with loads of insight on the biz,
and a man after my own heart:  tom petty(!).  i hope he recovers from his
“sinus infection.”  also this:  you were right to air the entirety of the matt
graham (speaking of grams) interview - especially the last moments when
he tries to sell you that board game; all of it was unvarnished truth, and rarely seen
(or heard).  continue the good fight!

you should try watching the show storage wars.  you’ll get to see what’s in some of those spaces.  **spoiler alert—a lot of severed body parts.

lol @ “a writer stud”.  well done marc, you funny s-o-b.    also, loved the storage bit at the beginning.  Bill was a great guest.
I really wish i could see Matt Graham’s show in NYC, but I live too far away.

Bill Lawrence came across as grounded as Matt Graham came across unhinged. Once again, attitude is altitude.

It feels like this episode was edited pretty heavily. I don’t usually notice it at all. Wish you talked about how much of a dick Zach Braff is, but nobody’s perfect. Thanks for all the hard work, Marc!

There was never a clearer example in one week of a great WTF interview and a bad WTF interview.

Great show today.

Ugh—I couldn’t bear to listen after he said, “I’ve had a charmed life—everything goes my way!”

Doooosh.

Come on Randy that doesn’t make him a douche. Some people are blessed, and the fact that he recognizes his good fortune is far less douchy then the alternative.

Joe Tily February 10, 2012 at 5:00 am

^^ Yeah, not a douche just a little annoying to people who aren’t blessed with a perfect life. I loved the first couple seasons of Scrubs - that show was very fresh and funny. The Janitor played by Neil Flynn was hilarious . . . great interview Marc.

Good interview.  Full Court Cougar Town Press.  Fitzdog, WTF and Stern.

Nice light interview for a change.  Despite the difference in your backgrounds, it sounded like you guys have a shared comedic sensibility.  Now that I know Cougartown is not about what its name would imply, I’ll have to check it out.

The part about when critics say the same thing that you say to yourself—that hit home. So true.

Yeah, we’ve been hearing that a lot, truth is that we just swicthed to a new computer and all of our presets and stuff were lost, as well as the volume fades for the intros, and levels for bg music We’ll be fixing all of it and re-uploading, also, it should be fixed in all future episodes.
