Episode 172 - Sue Costello

Marc puts aside his fear of Boston Natives to welcome the thickly accented and very funny Sue Costello to the garage. Sue talks about how the bottom dropped out on her rising comedy career and how an unlikely role in The Fighter prepped her for a comeback. Plus, Marc pinpoints the origin of his salty relationship with Boston. This episode is sponsored by Pro Flowers. Click here and use the code WTF for a special Mother’s Day offer.

Sue Costello has this whiff of desperation about her that is a little unsettling and off putting.  And that laugh…not good.  Marc seemed to be mostly humoring her.

I don’t care for east coast accents either, New Yohk or Bohston. Some loud guy with a New Yohk accent was shoutin and cursin on his cell phone in the streets of downtown Long Beach, CA, just this morning. Oy, vey!

Anyway, Sue Costello won me over by the end of the interview, despite her affected laugh. I hope she gets her TV show; she could teach the world a couple two, tree tings.

to those here placing sue on the chopping block for things that she did in her youth or for her laugh (of all things) .. seriously: you need to take a long look inward and try and understand how / why these things could ever be problematic for you.

marc and sue: great interview and kudos for the honesty.
