As a fifty something also trapped in a twenty something body, I enjoy the older actors and musicians the most.  Very cool interview. Marc has truly perfected the long form interview. If this was a television program it wouldn’t be the beast it is. The long form interview really shines without commercial interruptions.  Keep up the good work.

Loved hearing those anecdotes about classic stars and filmmakers. Also, love the Monday morning release slot. Release slot? Great interview & happy birthday.

Loved the mini-rant about your ‘happy’ friends w/kids and their attempts to call you childish. Would like to hear more talk like that. Too little of it on the airwaves. And loved Sally, of course.

wow that was one of the best interviews, and I’ve listened to all of them.  Looooved hearing Maron and Kellerman talk about Altman.

Hey the Criterion edition of Nashville comes out in a few weeks - maybe someone is promoting that? Michael Murphy? Ned Beatty? Lily Tomlin?  Keith Carradine?  Elliott Gould? All people that would make awesome Maron interviews…

Marc, this was a great interview with Sally Kellerman. I really dug listening to her talk about her earlier days in Hollywood. It’s a rare treat to hear stars talk about other stars in a way that just shows respect and love.
I am, also, a 50+ something, single, no kids. Everyone I know has kids (and grandkids) and I can’t relate. I spent the better part of my youth (18-41) chasing a career in music, and let everything relationship-wise fall by the wayside. I listen to you talk about that and it gives me some solace knowing (1) I’m not the only one, and (2) it’s okay and I’ll be okay.
Your show gives me hope. Thanks.

Also, sorry about that “satellite dish” crack on your L.A. sunset photo on twitter. I was just having a bit of fun… wasn’t trying to be a jerk.
