Beauty. Gives me that Willie Nelson warmth on my inside parts.

Even better than “May You Never”. A true master songsmith.

With all due respect to Steven Wright, et al, this may well be the coolest and wittiest guest ever to grace the garage. And for the first time since Jonathan Winters I’m truly and seethingly jealous of Marc’s seat in the one-man audience. Monday can’t get here soon enough, you lucky so-and-so.

Can’t wait to hear this whole show. Marc, gotta hand it to you — spanning the cultural distance between, say, Paul Krassner and Nick Lowe is a pretty amazing thing. Keep doing it. (Oh, and more musicians, please! I’m thrilled to hear this Nick thing in part because it’s so unexpected.)

I thought this show was going to be a meh for me because I’m not a huge Nick Lowe fan but you nailed it. Now you’ve got to get Tom Waits on the show. Do It!

This episode as a whole was so great. I know it’d be diverting from the main theme of the show, but it’d be amazing if you could interview more musicians. I wish there were a podcast as good as yours, in the same vein, except where musicians were interviewed instead. I’m no comedy nerd, but I’ve listened to you for ages and love your show, but as a musican, this really gave me a taste of what your show must be like to aspiring comics.
PS. What’s with all the crazy spam?

It would be so cool and retro to release these two songs as a 45.

FANTASTIC episode! The occasional branching out into the music world is totally welcome when the interviews are this great.
