Nitpick - I think you meant Allan Bloom, not Harold. Allan wrote - The Closing of the American Mind, or whatever, back in the late 80’s/early 90’s. He’s not a big fan of rock. He was from Chicago. Harold Bloom is the Yale guy who’s mr-deep-thinker and no doubt couldn’t be bothered with rock in the first place.

(I acknowledge I am now that guy.)

Otherwise - Great stuff and good to hear Iggy.

FYI Bobby Fuller wrote I fought the law but he did have the eddie cochran sound, check out Bobby’s story he was found dead beaten in a burning car in LA after he was dating Nancy Sinatra and it was ruled a suicide.

I gotta say, your recent string of music interviews have been great. What are the chances you could book Tom Waits??? He’s funnier than a lot of comics and he makes killer music!
