Yea! This is going to be cool.

Oh Marc - Mel Brooks, Carl Reiner, and now Dick van Dyke?
You’re making this boomer *very* happy!
Shelagh March 18, 2013 at 11:44 am
btw, any chance of Betty White, Carol Burnett, Cloris Leachman or other classic ladies of comedy too?
Dave March 18, 2013 at 8:41 pm
Wonderful talk, Marc. Perfect mix of taking the interview to areas previously untapped, as well as being a geeky fanboy like me, LOL.

I really could have listened to two more hours of this.

Marc—Classic example of why you are so good at interviewing. That was the most real interview I have ever heard with Dick Van Dyke. Congrats. Call the Smithsonian. They need a Marc Maron Wing.

I can’t express how much this interview made my day. Thank you man!
Dave March 23, 2013 at 8:46 am
You’re really killin’ it with these legends interviews, Maron. Reiner, Brooks, Van Dyke, wow! The bar is pretty high now, though…how can you top these guys?
(Great stuff with Daryl Lennox and Leslie Jones, too. Didn’t know anything about them, but their stories are pretty incredible even if they ain’t legends.)
So, yeah…thanks for the pod…can’t live without it.

Marc your engagement with DicK Van Dyke was quite a delight. I found the kid inside me listening intensely as I just smiled to what transpired. A great interview and an entertaining peek into days gone by. Funny as a kid I could have sworn my father and the great Mr. Van Dyke sweep chumminess on roof tops through the city as I slept in by bed. Marc you always leave me feeling so happy, so stick that in your dark spots friend. Love ya man! Just went primium for Marc Maron- good times.
