Look there’s an actual conspiracy theory about the Federal Reserve holding a note for $x on every U.S. citizen when born. That fcker was trying to tell you he just thinks it’s a cool story to tell people but it doesn’t matter if it’s true. Maron kept thinking it was some kind of brilliant metaphor.

His party line on the Washington war machine was more rooted in truth but similarly demagogic b.s. fake radicals use to bed girls and join bands. While calls to war have a strong tailwind in D.C., popular sentiment has instead shut down two interventions just in the last few years. Obama was primed to hit Syria but had to stop. And the Beltway roundup now calling for us to do “something” in Iraq, has been stymied by opposition obvious enough that it probably won’t happen. These dime-store rads like to pretend the whole system is immune to their wisdom and must be brought down, when they won’t even look at the history of democratic resistance.

People were getting their heads bashed, so it’s more than a little insulting to hear especially that Federal Reserve (the bankers!) claptrap bandied about without even owning it.

I’m just gonna come out and say it: I think we all want to know where to get the boner pills.

I was wondering if he’d go into how the CIA introduced crack/AIDS into the black community in the 80s etc etc.
Funny thing is - guys like him, I mean guys who are sparky-bright and have those fast-moving hustling IQs are, far too often, exactly who ends up in some cult and eventually shot by cops after some crazy rant about being ‘the true jews’ and how egypt was made by blacks etc blah.

Now that is racist.

Great thoughts on why the films that get funded are so, well for the lack of a better word, bad.

I had no idea the guy from “40 year old virgin” was so interesting.  Great guest and theories on everything from high-budget movies to being born with a loan already on your future.  I have to go look up the College Boys tonight.
