Oh. This is the one from the live video stream. I thought I was going crazy. Knew I had already heard it.

I’m really looking forward to the Harry Dean Stanton interview on thursday.  Hopefully you guys talked about “Paris, Texas.”

Smitty January 20, 2014 at 4:48 pm

‘Paris Texas’ .... great, under seen flick….

Aisha Tyler is a GENIUS!  I love her.  You too Marc…

Michael P. Gowdy January 21, 2014 at 10:00 am

Aisha stole the show. She represents the antithesis of everything that I hate about the last two musicians he interviewed and illustrates my point about comics being cooler people perfectly.

I realized that the second sentence is too much like her “translation for white people,” so allow me to rephrase it:

the world is a big tent…. so why do we need it to be a ,zero sum, either or.  i like the brooding introspective [something we don’t see much of in mainstream culture today]; and, i like the whacky over the top humor, too.  well made vanilla is as enjoyable,as smokn’ hot chipotle. i don’t understand, the need to choose;much less, pit one against the other.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do a garage interview with Alice Fraser, the comic you did a mini interview with beginning of ep. she was awesome in the mini, i can only imagine how good she’d be in an hour.

Another killer Live WTF . . . everyone was on-form, especially Dana Gould.

Christopher January 23, 2014 at 2:15 pm

Holy crap this was good. Better than most live ones. Heck, by the first guest I was howling - those two mini-interviews with folks in the audience were awesome. And Aisha Tyler? OMG she killed. I had no idea she was that quick, smart and really damn funny. Hope she makes it to the garage!
