Episode 455 - Jason Woliner

Things seem to happen to writer-director Jason Woliner earlier than most people. He was a well-compensated actor who went broke before he got out of his teens. He was married and divorced in his 20s. And by the time he was in his 30s, he already had a hand in developing shows like Human Giant, Delocated and Eagleheart. Jason talks to Marc about these milestones and more when they sit down in the garage. This episode is sponsored by Squarespace and HuluPlus.

I don’t know guys:  unbridled, male, juvenile cynical banter; gets corny and boring after a few moments.  it feels a bit “arrested” [as in development].

total redemption 2nd 1/2 of show..  you guys went to some really thoughtful and interesting places..  this puppy ended really well…!!  moral of the story:  don’t judge a 200 pg book at pg 100…

When Jason started to say that a Sesame Street segment traumatized his brother, somehow I knew exactly where he was going.  I remember that museum skit, and I remember it being very unnerving as a kid.

OMG!!! Your are so right!!!
This shit sounds like I’m listening to my 12 yo.
Why is Marc so subserviant to this kid???
Wake up, Marc E Marc!

I like Jason, and the interview.

Fuck that “the gayest place to meet your wife” shit into oblivion, though.
