Episode 424 - Harris Wittels

Parks and Recreation writer Harris Wittels is allergic to cats, but he sucked it up and sat in Marc’s garage at the Cat Ranch anyway. Harris tells Marc how he got his start in comedy, what made Sarah Silverman want him to work on her show, and why he got to a point where he could no longer deal with his most infamous creation - the Humblebrag.  This episode is sponsored by Comedy Central and by Stamps.com.

Who are the Toadies? Great band. Funny that Marc said that especially because I always thought both the singer of the Toadies in the 90s and 90s Marc were doppelgangers.

This guy had the kind of modest honesty which makes for a mesmerizing interview . . . or maybe it was the all talk about shrooms and trips that did a number on my head.  Really enjoyed this one!  Thanks Marc.

Great episode Marc. It seemed to me that Harris felt completely comfortable with you and that’s why he was able to open up and be completely honest. I find that in a lot of your interviews you have the gift that makes anyone collected and calm.
