Marc, I so appreciate your love of creativity and intermittent pep talks for artist-types. KC rattled off a lot of artists’ names and I’m trying to look them up but not with great success. Links to artists and artwork would be so sweet!

I liked Christy’s candor about his family, and his art and the life at the Comedy Store. I realized that this guy could probably conduct his own podcast, successfully. He was able to inform about art and his personal history, and remained humble. It struck a chord with me.
Thanks for a interesting show.

I love this episode - halfway through and have already been caught stifling laughter in public like a lunatic. Kevin seems like a really great guy. (I’m glad you vacuumed the garage! gah!)

what Mr. Christy said about construction is the straight truth, you do not want any of that sh*t. This is coming from an architect. it is a business full of bullshit and tears. please take his advice.
Also who is this Italian selling you these forced dreams? if he is an architect in california and is as foreign as he seems to be, you don’t want none of that. dumb outdated style will cantilever all over your wallet ... please mr Maron I worry. the search for the authentic isn’t in the pages of dwell magazine. But if you need some names i would be happy to point them out but for reals the whole architecture thing is a rabbit hole… have you been to dennis miller’s home ? yeah, you don’t want none of that.
