This episode, impeccably timed at the start of one less year, inspires and commiserates in equal measure. Superbly honest. Thanks for what you do.

Marc, I’ve listened to you since episode 5 (and went back to hear them all). You got me through some gnarly L.A. traffic. The ebbs and flows of your life have made me smile, laugh, cry, etc. I hope you find happiness because, although your misery brings about better shows, I like hearing you happy. You deserve it.
Anyhow, one of the arcs I’ve enjoyed following is your obsession with Lorne Michaels. It’s been quite entertaining and the Jim Brewer episode was revelatory. So with all that, can’t believe you didn’t ask Artie Lange about his meeting with Lorne. Sounded quite meaty. Maybe you can do a quick phone call to discuss it with him? Would be your first ever negative Lorne story it sounds like.
Alright, thanks for your time. Have a great day man.

Holy Shit what a great episode!
Artie never fails to deliver the goods, the guys a fucked-up genius.
Over here in Euroland we are constantly sold the American dream, but what Artie (hallowed be his name) tells us is, it`s not so pretty. I think that`s why your podcast is so popular. On TV we are sold this bullshit that no one believes any more, ever since America started being the guy with the black hat. You can`t all of a sudden say torture is OK and then pretend to be the innocent virgin!
P.S. I`d be very appreciative if you gave me the salute of “hey man” because your voice reminds me of my American friend that I met in Central America and he was a big influence in my life
pps this isn`t a gay thing lol
See who's been on the show and where to get access for each and every episode.
