To the guy who thought he was at a “who’s WOOing harder” contest: fuck you.

That aside, really great episode.

David Cross is so funny…

David Cross is so funny…
Cock joke.
Damn.
David Cock jokes are never not funny.

Only about 42 minutes in, but so far its pure gold! the image of car fueled by resentment = genius, glenn wool’s deceptively easy yet sharp, michael showalter brings the awkward, and maeve higgins is adorably hilarious.

Also,  agreed on the WOO douchebag. That guy better’ve been fucked out of his mind on something, otherwise he’s a complete moron.

cdome September 27, 2010 at 5:29 pm

Very funny episode, but definitely the worst crowd that we’ve witnessed on a live show I think.. That one guy screaming whoo’s.. christ is this your first time drinking? Idk though I guess he was just letting a little something out, it just happened to be something annoying as fuck.. Thanks to Marc and the guests to keeping it real (funny).

Joe Tily September 28, 2010 at 7:14 am

i’m with the anti-woo brigade - what an idiot. way to ruin a live recording moron . . . .

As my 5 year old nephew said on Sunday -
POW!! i just pooped my pants!
(my brother is a big WTF fan too).

What a killer live show. Fried Gold. Thanks Maron.

Not a good episode compared to others. Very slow opening and 1st guest with only a few moderate chuckles. A bit painful in parts. Cross was funny though and a few bits here and there.

The previous live show was infinitely better. The bits about Dylan were hilarious.

Why didn’t anyone destroy the woo-hoo guy?

I want more Karen Kilgariff songs!! Those were great.

No where else to post this so here it is:

RIP Greg Giraldo..  Died of an accidental overdose..  I wasn’t a huge fan, but I hate to see someone’s life ended so abruptly.  RIP goes out to Robert Shimmel as well.  Another taken too fucking early..

That’s two solid comics gone in a short period of time…  Total bummer.

Joe Tily September 30, 2010 at 7:49 am

I cant believe Greg Giraldo is gone. I thought he was one of the best. It does seem like only the good die young . . . . RIP Greg - you were a fuckin’ great comedian dude.

Marc…............
Please…..........
When David Cross is on…................
no more bean story. We have heard the bean story—what?—5 times already.
You really don’t remember telling that story on the air?
Stop. Please.

Crate&Trauma October 03, 2010 at 9:48 am

Dude stop acting like it’s some big deal if Marc tells a story again.  You’re acting like a little nerd.

Stop.Please.

Crate&Trauma October 03, 2010 at 9:50 am

Also, Marc you did great on Craig Ferguson friday night.  Great set and the crowd seemed to really enjoy your stuff.

Jon November 25, 2010 at 1:10 pm

Thanks Marc, David Cross and Karen Kilgariff were great.

I know that Gramercy Park area well and the fun methadone addict pacts, having worked in a public library in that area.  I worked with that fun demographic often.
